Let's go exploring!
Our Family Hikes are the first Monday AND the second Saturday of every month, 10:30-12:30. Our hikes are for families with children of all ages. Some hikes are not stroller friendly so a carrier for littles is recommended.
Our Monday hikes are guided by Rachael and our Saturday hikes are guided by Suzanne.
Be sure to let us know if you're coming. Update your rsvp on our FB event page. DM us on Facebook or Instagram.
Things to Bring:
- small backpack
- water for the hike
- extra water in your car for rehydrating post hike and the ride home
- nuts, bars, apples, oranges, or something to munch on during the hike that gives you energy
- food or lunch in the car for after the hike
- good sturdy shoes for hiking or creek exploring.
- extra clothes and a towel in the car - just in case.
- small first aid kit, bug spray, sunscreen, bag for collecting trash along the way
* Always check for ticks after a hike. Stick to the trail when hiking.
* We currently don't charge a fee for our monthly hikes. However, we do ask participating families to send a tax deductible donation to the Lake Claire Community Land Trust to show our gratitude for their beautiful space in the city. With each monthly hike, we ask families to send $5-10 (or any amount) to LCCLT Venmo or Paypal to LCCLT Paypal. * Designate in the note that you're a Nature Play Studio family. Every little donation is appreciated. Tysm!
