Sycamore tree seed pods. Nature is fascinating. Intricate. Complex. Never dull. Always surprising.
These pods contain the seeds to start new trees. If you think about how nature works, it’ll blow your mind. Well, that’s what it does for me at least. The trees drop these in winter. They provide food for birds and whatever isn’t eaten decomposes into the soil…and the spring rain will hopefully help the seeds take root to then grow into new trees. The whole process is beautiful.
